Trying to think of what to say can be harder than saying it
Dear friends, family, and all you cool cats
Thank you SO MUCH for all your prayers and support. I can’t believe all that God has done this past year. I have experienced such a change in motivation and direction in my life that things are not as I’d planned them. My plan being, before my Discipleship Training School, to return home and go to college as I REALLY was looking forward to, but I allowed God to finally take hold of my life. No longer making plans that would simply please Him, but instead following His pre-set plans, I’ve stepped into a world of intimacy with Him.
More and more each day I’m learning what it means to share in God’s love. God has given me visions and passions yet they aren’t even on the same scale as to my longing to be closer to Him. With this in mind I’ve decided to chase after the vision God has given, drawing closer to him with every step. God showed me while I was in Australia that the next step for me was New Zealand and all that he has for me there.
In Matt 5 Jesus states that it is our hunger for righteousness that results in being filled. And in Phil. 3 Paul reveals to his readers that righteousness is by faith in Christ, thus making righteousness simply a byproduct of our love for God. It is a man’s ability to follow his maker unswervingly that makes him righteous. I trust God will direct my path in the most upright way.
